Itinerary Detail
After an early breakfast, depart with packed picnic lunches for a full day of wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s top safari destination. Spend the day tracking wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, cheetahs, and more.Visit the Mara River, where you’ll enjoy your picnic lunch and take a short, guided nature walk along the riverbanks to see hippos and crocodiles. Continue exploring different parts of the park until about 5:00 PM before heading back to camp for an optional activity, dinner, and overnight rest.
Start the day with breakfast between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM. You may opt for a cultural tour to a local Maasai village, experience their dances, traditions, and way of life while capturing amazing photos to enrich your Budget Kenya Safari memories. Depart the Masai Mara and drive back via Narok, stopping for a hot lunch en route. The group can choose to take part in optional activities at Lake Naivasha, such as a boat ride or guided nature walk, before proceeding to Nakuru City for evening check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. Enjoy incredible bird watching, especially flamingos and search for endangered species such as rhinos and Rothschild’s giraffes. Other animals include leopards, lions, zebras, antelopes, warthogs, and more. Exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. Spend the late afternoon at your leisure. Optional activities such as a boat ride or nature walks can be arranged with help from your safari guide.
After breakfast, proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park for a unique, active safari experience. Choose to cycle through the 11 km Hell’s Gate Gorge or enjoy a guided game drive. For the adventurous, a guided nature walk through the gorge to the geothermal spa area is available. Return the bikes or meet your guide at the park exit, then drive back to Nairobi with a lunch stop en route. Your Budget Kenya Safari concludes upon arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening.
